Acts 5:29, teaches us that obedience to God must come first, even if it requires personal sacrifice.

Acts 5:29, teaches us that obedience to God must come first, even if it requires personal sacrifice.

Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than human authority.”

At times, you may wonder what God expects. With the multitude of churches and wide variety of religious voices added to the messages from your personal study and your conscience, you may feel overwhelmed with duties and obligations. In a simple statement, however, the prophet Micah gives clear direction: (1) do what is right, (2) love mercy, (3) walk humbly.

Justice. Mercy. Humility. Consider the difference those qualities can make if consistently applied. How would your life change? What would be the impact on your relationships? What would your community and nation be like if citizens lived according to this pattern? Most important, what would happen in your relationship with God?

In reality, the application of those changes in behavior occurs in the reverse order. First, we must humble ourselves before God, giving our total allegiance to him. Next, we must relate to others with mercy, loving and caring for our neighbors. Then, this genuine care will lead to standing for what is right in society and fighting against sin and injustice.

This summary in Micha reveals what God wants from you. They are the key to obedience.

Human is a "social animal" tend to follow people flow, But most important thing follow GOD flow

This though is to continue one pages that I have shared on Nov 14 2010. The movie < City of Life & Death > Recently this few days i keep on thinking about this movie, because I just feel like I revisit the movie when saw some forwards pictures that my friend sahred. It all about revealing the hidden dark secret pictures during the Japanese have war over China last time. Forgive me I forgot when and what the war name . But it keep on bordering my mind for few days is because all the pictures is too cruel and so disturbing. You can't believe your eye actually human being is doing this to their same species. This is what the movie shown, how the Japanese Army kill babies, and man in disgusting way and rape girl even old lady, and throw human like garbage,.......

Then I talk to my Sister about it; I ask her why human can do that. And I tell her without Love and care ; people can become so scary like monster.

And I ask is it because when everybody is in sin, then you harden your heart already, and follow the world follow the world trend doing the same thing , doing the same sin. Because when everybody is doing, then it seem ok to you to do the so. Or you are not brave and bold enough to do different thing from everybody else ; because when you don;t follow this social sinful flow, you are like alien, you could not mix in to this world.
But is it God want you to mix in to this world? God want you to close to HIM and walk HIS righteous path.

This make me wonder , when Jesus living in the world, ,He must be very lonely and so difficult and face so much challenging; because worldly person is so diffeerent from his pure and holy heart or attitude.

Gospel , definitely always bigger > work ,> your family, > your comfort /flesh ....................... >

Isaiah 50: where you build your confidence , the everlasting GOD or world...

如果我们把信心建立在自己的才智、外貌或成就上,那么,在这些力量消失之后,我们就会有痛苦的危险。

People Who Don’t Know God Worry - Rick Warren Ministries daily devotional 06 February Sunday

What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Matthew 6:31-32 (MSG)

"Do you believe that if you follow Jesus, you will lack nothing?"

When we worry, we reveal the places in our lives where we are trying to do things on our own as opposed to trusting Jesus to do what he promised.

This means we can view worry as an opportunity to increase our faith. Rather than worry, or feel bad about our worry, we can take the things we worry about and bring them to the feet of King Jesus. We can say, “Jesus, I’m having trouble with this one. It keeps me worried. I’m giving this worry to you and I’m going to trust you to take care of this.”

Then, we have to take thoughts captive, just as the Apostle Paul teaches. What that means is, when we start to worry, we have to take that thought and send it to Jesus. “Jesus, I am worried about the mortgage, but I am sending my worry to you because you have promised to take responsibility for providing for my needs.”

This simple transfer, in and of itself, will strengthen your faith because it requires you at a very basic, yet intimate level, to acknowledge the sovereignty of God. It is a simple step of faith that will help you clearly see when and how Jesus provides.

Jesus says worry is characteristic of people who don't know God and the way he works. And because of their ignorance, they fuss over things. They have no idea that God knows their needs and so, as Pastor Tom taught yesterday, they try to do for themselves what only God can do.

“But you know both God and how he works,” Jesus says. Jesus always brings us to a choice: ‘Do you believe that if you follow me, you will lack nothing?’ If your answer is yes, then why do you worry? If you answer is no, then what keeps you from trusting Jesus?

Jesus died so you could be free from worry. Worry is a choice, but you can choose instead to trust in Jesus and walk in the wonderment of how God provides.

When you about to Criticize and get Angry , and speak something stupid ... read this

Thank God Instead - Kennneth Copeland Ministries daily devotional 07 February Monday

If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with every one.
– Romans 12:18

When I was a new Christian, it was almost impossible for me to live at peace with anyone! Almost every time I opened my mouth, I said something ugly. I was constantly hurting the people I was close to. In fact, I spoke more harshly to them than to anyone else.

I criticized Gloria's driving so much that she nearly refused to drive while I was with her. I criticized my children so much that they began to avoid me. I didn't want to be so insensitive, but I couldn't help it. I had a well-developed habit of speaking harshly and didn't know how to change it.

Then I found Ephesians 5:4. It said, "[Let there be] no coarse, stupid, or flippant talk; these things are out of place; you should rather be thanking God" (New English Bible). When I read that, I realized I needed to replace the words I was used to saying with words of thanksgiving. That would solve my problem. After all, I couldn't speak harshly and thank God at the same time. I couldn't criticize those around me if I had a thankful attitude about them.

I immediately decided to put this principle to work in my life. Rushing into my son's room one day ready to lambaste him about something he had done, I recognized my old behavior pattern. I just stopped and said to myself, "The Word says this kind of behavior is out of place, so I am going to stop and thank God." I wasn't nearly as angry after I spent a few minutes praising and thanking the Lord.

If you've developed the habit of speaking harshly, start changing that habit today. When someone crosses you on the job, at school, or wherever, and you're tempted to tear into them with cruel words, stop! Then take a few moments to give thanks and praise to God. Once you begin thinking about how good God is, more often than not, those harsh, angry words will just slip away unspoken.

Instead of using your tongue to tear people down, train it to lift God's praises up. Then living at peace with others will come easily to you!

Thoughts of the Heart- by JM

February 6

Either make the tree sound (healthy and good), and its fruit sound (healthy and good), or make the tree rotten (diseased and bad), and its fruit rotten (diseased and bad); for the tree is known and recognized and judged by its fruit.
— Matthew 12:33

The Bible says a tree is known by its fruit, and the same is true of you.You can look at a person’s attitude and know what kind of thinking is prevalent in his life. A sweet, kind person does not have mean, vindictive thoughts. By the same token, a truly evil person does not have good, loving thoughts.

Your thoughts bear fruit. Think good thoughts and the fruit in your life will be good. Think bad thoughts and the fruit in your life will be bad. Remember Proverbs 23:7 and allow it to have an impact on your life: for as you think in your heart, so are you.

Overcoming Bias ( from Daily Bread)

A Washington Post article reported that recent studies into the nature of prejudice found that almost everyone harbors biases, and these attitudes affect even those who actively resist them. A University of Kentucky psychologist says that much of our self-esteem comes from feeling better about ourselves than about others because of the group we belong to. Prejudice is not easy to overcome, even within the family of God.

Paul’s words to the believers at Colosse instruct us today, saying that our speech and behavior toward fellow Christians should reflect our oneness in Christ. “[You] have put on the new man,” Paul said, “where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all” (Col. 3:10-11). Instead of superiority and favoritism, we should demonstrate compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience toward each other (v.12). And above all, we are to “put on love, which is the bond of perfection” (v.14).

In the body of Christ, no race, nationality, or class is better than another. Through the cross, Christ has made us one, and we are to treat each other with honesty, dignity, and love.

It matters not what race or gender,
Rich or poor, or great or small,
The God who made us is not partial—
He sent Christ to die for all. —D. De Haan

Prejudice distorts what it sees, deceives when it talks,
and destroys when it acts.

Relationship

So many though when meeting up with high school girl friend yesterday night, about their relationship problem, and the look of their face , how's theier marraige life,... the single thier own relationship with their ownselves.

I think relationship is like planting a plant as well you nee to nourishes it with : tender , loving , care . to maintain a good relationship . Is apply to any either your relationship with God , Family, your spouse, your child, your friends.

You need to constant care about them, talk with them, walk together with their journey , say something sweet to them, appreciate them . And grow together , open the heart to have deep communicate with them , and forgive and forget and take it eay , pamper them , buy gift with them , spent a great quality tea time with them in a nice little cafe ..., praise them , encourage them , call then buy present for them ..., celebrate birthday with them, give them surprise , .....

So are you a good "planter" ??

Are you lack of love nutritious ?! In order to avoid this start give first, be a planter, and the flower will bear fruit .

The best part is we are created by GOD our love inside to others can be unlimited like God , and be very big , and be very amazing, can be very wonderful,......

Thank GOD, now I know some meaning of " GOD IS LOVE'.
